Valves, Actuators, Cable Trays

Aaronite supply and install the innovative fire protection systems as jackets, and AAROCAST.

In case of fire, the emergency shutdown valves and associated actuators must remain operative typically for at least 15 minutes after the outbreak of a fire, the time required to stop the flow of liquid / gas and put in security the process plants.

Tubes and electrical cables that control the actuators and other control systems must be operative also for all the time necessary.

There is no international standard specification for this type of application. Designers typically use UL 1709 as fire temperature curve, a standard used to protect structural steel in buildings. Fire protection systems are then typically tested by the local Agency by safety tests to verify the performance.
